Seasonal Tire Pressure Guide
Winter: Cold temperatures cause pressure to drop. Check tires when they are cold (before driving) and add air to reach the recommended pressure on your door jamb placard. You may need to add 3-5 PSI in winter.
Summer: Hot pavement and high ambient temps cause pressure to rise. Check tires in the morning before driving. Slightly under-inflating (1-2 PSI below placard) in extreme heat can help.
Always check when cold: Drive less than 1 mile or wait 3+ hours after driving for an accurate reading.
